The Eye of the Badge of Office
Can't trust the Government.

Our heroes returned to Falcon’s Hollow once again as heroes. Their new friend Edgrin Galesong bid them farewell and hoped they would meet again in New Bastion. The team split up to drop the kids off at their homes. Krom Redwood, Newguylio and Cabor drop young Jurin Kreed off at Thuldrin Kreed’s mansion. Against his earlier promise, Thuldrin pays a small some of 250 gp for the return of his only son. This enrages the warriors and they insult the richest man in Falcon’s Hollow. His enforcer “Pay Day” Teedum and some of his lackeys were quickly dispatched thanks to the help of the Apollo Fellheart, the tiefling bard. Krom swears to Kreed that he will get his, no one stiffs Krom Redwood.
Meanwhile, Jentur and Talmer return young Hollin Habbradan to his sister Ralla, she thanks them profusely but fears of the owner of The Rouge Lady. Talmer and Jentur then went to Kadran Bloodeye to speak with him of the gospel of Ehlonna.
The team reunites in high market after dropping of young Savram Vade at his fathers tower, he promises to aid the adventurers should they desire his services. The team is unsure about the tiefling and his desire to join an adventuring group. When a messenger arrives from the magistrate requesting the heroes fro a job, then decide to take Apollo on a probationary outing.
Michael Cailli has had his badge of office stolen and without it his and his aunts cannot govern Falcon’s Hollow. He believes the previous magistrates son or Thuldrin Kreed had stolen it. The heroes set out to find leads on the badges whereabouts. After an unsuccessful day of goose chasing the team returns to The Goose n’ Gander for rest and drinks. The owner of the bar, Steve McKenna, let slip of a strange halfling that had drank at the inn the same night of the theft. The team ponder their choices as a farmer steps into the inn looking for protection for the long road to Pip’s Plot. The team jump on the chance and accompany him to Pip’s Plot.
After a run in with a strangely dressed Goblin and a temple of Falanghan, the team arrives at The Tin Whistle. That night at the inn, an assasin wannabe tried to sneak into their room but the alert and watchful Kartessa caught him, but not before he killed himself with a suicide capsule. His friends ran to the north leaving a trail for the wily Stormaggedon to follow. The trail ends at a shack on the hill, with a outhouse leading into a secret pathway into the house.
The path into the house was piece by piece revealed to be a testing ground for a rogues guild. Traps and tests assaulted the team but the team make it into a scene were the estranged son the old Magistrate is confronted by a Rogue’s Guild that has quickly changed their allegiances. The heroes burst forth from the dungeon to protect Brandon Friar, but do not stop a Wererat from biting him. The rogue’s guild is dispatched and Brandon is saved, the team vow to help Brandon take back his chair. On their way out of the shack, Cabor catches a glimpse of a pool of water, in the water was the reflection of a beautiful young white haired women.
The heroes escort Brandon back to Falcon’s Hollow and march right into the Hollow Tribunal. The team confronts Cailli, he tries to make Brandon doubt his new allies but his outburst shows the true nature of Cailli’s aunts, the three still beautiful older women are revealed to be a Coven of Hags. Their loyal Ogre guardians disguised as guards launch into an all out assault on the heroes. The Sea Hag laid her Evil Eye on Cabor instantly paralyzing him. The battle was epic. Brandon was sliced open and lay bleeding on the dias, Cailli perishes with a arrow in his frail chest. Newguylio cuts the Sea Hag in half, this causes a disruption in the Coven causing the Hag’s Eye that was hidden in the Badge of Office to weaken. Kartessa sensing this disturbance in the purse, snatches the eye and crushes it blinding one hag. Finally the hags and ogre’s were slayed and Brandon was saved.
Brandon asks the heroes to go to New Bastion to get him a new uncorrupted Badge of Office. The heroes are now decorated saviors of Falcons Hollow. The town buzzes with joy as Brandon starts his first day in office. Fines and levies are laid heavy on Thuldrin Kreed, he meekly accepts as he doesn’t want his assets seized. An investigation into the robbery and murder of Kadran Bloodeye is half-heartedly brushed aside for more important issues, a Madame Tormau steps up as the new owner of the Rouge Lady, instead the sheriff investigates a fire that had started at the lumber mill but was quenched by the quick actions and strength of Tim Rhoddam . New businesses open up as young Ralla Habbradan with a mysteriously large sum of money buys Kadran’s old property and opens a dress shop.

Rumble in the Tunnels
Taste fist Kobold Bitch!

When the smoke cleared from the Forgespurned, Tysse lay dead, Arciom is missing and the rest of our team was reunited. Cabor soon returned from Falcon’s Hollow with Tysse’s betrothed, Kartesa Moonstruck. Once hopeing to be reunited with her love, she finds him cold with the breath of life torn from his body and a necromantic bane coursing through his dead veins. She tore from his body his sacred oak seed, returned his body to the earth and swore to avenge his death and return his soul to the cycle. After retrieving their boons left by Gristogar, the team traveled deeper into the Kobold Warrens. More Kobold guards were killed as the team pushed on, even battling their mounted ranks perched upon the vile Slurks. In an abandoned storage room the team found a Choker obviously on the brink of death and defenseless, succumbing to centipede poison.
Cabor’s complaints to move on and stop wasting time clashed with Newguylio’s need to end its life. While they bickered, Talmer and Tysse moved in to save the Chokers life, and allowed him to withdraw into the rafters. The sounds of battle had given Merlokrep time to prepare his tribe for ambush the heroes. After the team dispatched some slurks and evaded a series of Dark Talon assasins, the emerged into the main hall of the Kobold King. Wave after wave of Kobolds and Slurks died at the feet of the cornered heroes, Skkirrrrssshhhh the choker even returned to repay Talmer and Tysse’s kindness. With blood on their hands and a newly tamed Slurk, Newguylio and Cabor rushed into the Merlokrep’s throne room. He hailed them, and welcomed them a place of honor as the sacrifice to his crown. Of course our heroes declined which threw Merlokrep into a rage. His guards held back Krom, Kartesa, Edgrin and Talmer while Magic Missiles battered Newguylio into unconsciousness and his axe " Man-Feller" tore through Cabors armor almost killing him. Eventually his Mage Armor was pierced by a well place shot from Krom’s shocking bow ( a gift from Gristogar)weakening him. Jenter was then able to send a magic missile down his bloody maw. as the magic tore threw him Jenter stood up to the Kobold King, removed his crown and held forward the soul speaker, the voice of one of Merlokreps own slave assured him all was well before Jenter slammed the Grasp of Droskar into his face. Next, the heroes arrived just in time to save the last child from a ritual sacrifice, but sadly the heroes were far to late to stop Jekkajak from killing Edgrin’s adventuring partner. With the children saved and the Truescale Tribe all but obliterated, the team went to leave in hopes of finding Arciom, but on their way out they stumbled upon Vregma, the Kings consort. She had stolen Arciom away while the team lay unconscious and bound him up in her quarters, she nursed him back to health in hopes of having her way sexually with the handsome half-elf. Newguylio’s grotesque advances were enough to back her down while the team freed Arciom and headed back to Falcon’s Hollow, two more children in tow.

Sad Chain of Events
Droskar is an asshole

Smoke of the Forgespurned filled the lungs of four of our heroes and dragged them to the Purgatory of the Dwarven god of slavery and toil, Droskar. The soul of Abbott Gristogar Ashbreath, the man who lead the overtaking of Droskar’s Crucible, he was the poor soul forced to be a Forgespurned. He was one link away from serving his penance to Droskar but was cut shy by our heroes. In revenge he dragged the heroes back with him to purgatory as an offering to his god, to each he locked their souls to his own by forging a link of chain to each of their chests. Droskar had other plans, a powerful cleric of his had asked for aid in the form of Droskar’s Bellows a mysterious artifact lost to time. Droskar sent Tysse, Arciom, Krom and Jenter back to the material plane along with Gristogar (once again a Forgespurned). Here they searched a long buried crypt now dedicated to the art of necromancy. Puzzles were solved, undead were sent back to the grave and spirits were disturbed. Finally, the heroes came face to face with Damnation, the Spectre who ruled this crypt. Amongst the clang of battle, Arciom tripped a trap that sent the team crashing to a room below where ghasts awaited to steal their life force. Arciom valiantly fought against the spectre alone, armed with a recovered holy sword of Pelor. While this battle raged upstairs, Krom, Tysse and Jenter squared off against the ghasts. Fighting with all the power of the forests, Tysse was soon overran by the ghasts, and fell beneath their life sucking maws. They tore into his flesh, infecting his corpse with their evil corruption. Arciom too was struck down by Damnation, sapping the life from him with each blow. Damnation descended on Jenter, but by the luck of the gods, he remembered a spectres vulnerability to sunlight. Allowing Krom to avenge his elven brother and put an end to Damnation. With Arciom fighting for his life, Krom found the Bellows and demanded Droskar to return them to safety. He did. Krom and Jenter are back at the Cruicble’s Forge, Gristogar’s soul is now free, Arciom lays on the Crucible floor in critical condition, and the leader of the Broken Oak druids lay dead, about to become a ghast at midnight, his soul is trapped in the purgatory of Droskar, and at his will he slaves eternal at the slavemaster’s forges. And somewhere in Dohman a cleric of Droskar holds the mighty Bellows, using its powers for evil.

Crown of the Kobold King
Rescue some Meddling Kids.

The heroes who cured the Blackscour Taint were joined by Jenter’s large half-orc associate and a ranger he met on the road. After a short stop at Laurel’s herb shop, the gang starts to hear rumor’s; missing children, dead livestock, a creepy halfway house. With the encouragement of some reward money the team set out to investigate the halfway house.

Under it’s charred ruins was a even more grisly scene. Elara, long dead, lay still with her throat ripped out, surrounded by torture equipment, and serving as a nursery for spider babies. After surveying the kids abandoned campsite, foul play was discoverd, accompanied by a lost little girl. Jeva was an orphan from the halfway house, but more then that. After nightfall she showed her true lycan form and attacked the sleeping adventurers, then limped off into the night to lick her wounds.

They followed the kobold tracks and found themselves back in Droskar’s Crucible. A slave was rescued but sacrificed to a statue trap. A ghost was confronted but was really some armor in Gelatinous Cube. Ghouls, Kobold and Shock Lizards later, the team found young Kimi being protected by a halfling bard name Edgrin Galesong, of the Gold Eagles. Cabor escorted Kimi back to Falcon’s Hollow and the team, now joined by Edgrin Galesong, ventured deeper in to the warren.

Young wizard Savram Vade was found in a state of mental anguish, frightened silent and afraid of touch. A deformed kobold shouting at some Darkscale Warriors was convinced to help the team, but he was left behind when the team went down a tunnel to face the Forgespurned, an undead dwarf tormented in the afterlife and given the unholy task to bind souls to his grotesque chain. The curtain closed with our heroes standing over the empty lifeless chains of the Forgespurned.

Hollow's Last Hope
Blackscour Taint.. HAHA She said Taint.

Thrown together from different backgrounds, 5 adventurers find themselves in Roots and Remedies, where the herbalist, Laurel, asks for their assistance. A disease called The Blackscour Taint has stricken the town and people are dying each day.. A number of ingredients are needed for a cure, but the new Magistrate has been distant and useless since taking his seat and the Lumber Consortium is to busy with profits. Still untrusting of eachother, the team quickly struck forth to the lumber consortium to find help with locating the ingredients. After being ignored by the foreman, Jarlben Trookshavits, the Field Ranger Milon Rhoddam makes a map for them, in hopes that they will return in time to save his nephews life. After a skirmish by the water, a young fox was saved and befriended by Tysse and Jenter, the fox proved invaluable in leading the team through the Darkmoon Vale. Eldermoss was found at the Eldest Tree in the vale. guarded by the tenacious Tatzylwyrm, Rat’s Tail was obtained from the with Ulzimila’s hut. Though she was dead, her cauldron defended her possesions, but shattered at the heroes feets. Finally, the band reached Droskar’s Crucible, a ruin of a Dwarven Monastery. Abandoned after it’s faith faltered to an evil diety. Skeletons were crushed and wolves were slain, but when confronted by the ferocious Worg Greypelt, the team tried to bargain with him for his Ironbloom mushrooms. He convinced them to fight the Darkmantles in the sanctuary, only so these brave few would be weaker for their final confrontation. But, in the end, he fell quickly to Cabor’s charge and Krom’s and Talmer’s fatal blows. The adventurers returned quickly with the foxes help. Just in time for the cure made by Laurel to save Tilon Rhoddam’s life.
